Pamela Carter is a writer, director, dramaturg and friend of the department. She was also previously a Lecturer at the Royal Conservatoire on the Contemporary Theatre Practice and a fellow at Edinburgh
University. Projects include Slope, Paul Bright’s Confessions of a Justified Sinner, and an ongoing collaboration with Swedish conceptual artists Goldin & Senneby. Pamela works in Scotland, Europe and beyond.

Pamela ran a workshop over the course of 2 weeks with the postgraduate students. The aim of the workshop was to offer up a different approach to the construct of space and narratives while encouraging the students to be open minded and embrace the opportunity to represent conceptual ideas in alternative ways.
